Engaging in this process of self-discovery frees you from unconscious conflicts and enables you to see a more complete picture of yourself and others, and the world around you. Professional Supervision & Reflective Professional Development Since every workplace comes with its own challenges it’s often valuable to talk with someone who can support you to reflect on your work and see workplace issues from a different perspective. Sometimes you may have difficulty dealing with ethical matters, maintaining clear boundaries, setting goals, recognising professional development opportunities, managing stress, dealing with personal trauma associated with client work, or handling seemingly irresolvable work relationship issues and supervision can support you to develop insight on a personal and professional level. The supervisory relationship provides both a safe space for you to deal with confidential material related to the work environment and as well as a space where you can feel supported and accepted while you explore how your personal beliefs and your past experiences affect the way you relate to your work environment and to those you work with.
