Counselling Therapy
My approach to therapy is holistic, encompassing all aspects of body, mind, spirit and soul. Together we look at how your day-to-day living, your relationships and/or any significant life events impact on your long-held beliefs and your current life situation. We also talk about your past, your present and your ideas for the future so you're able to develop an awareness of attitudes and beliefs which may limit you and keep you stuck. By exploring conflicting or disturbing feelings and by practising mindfulness you stimulate the brain to change old patterns and adopt healthier behaviours. Engaging in this process of self-discovery frees you from unconscious conflicts and enables you to see a more complete picture of yourself and others, and the world around you.

Professional Supervision & Reflective Professional Development
Since every workplace comes with its own challenges it’s often valuable to talk with someone who can support you to reflect on your work and see workplace issues from a different perspective. Sometimes you may have difficulty dealing with ethical matters, maintaining clear boundaries, setting goals, recognising professional development opportunities, managing stress, dealing with personal trauma associated with client work, or handling seemingly irresolvable work relationship issues and supervision can support you to develop insight on a personal and professional level.

The supervisory relationship provides both a safe space for you to deal with confidential material related to the work environment and as well as a space where you can feel supported and accepted while you explore how your personal beliefs and your past experiences affect the way you relate to your work environment and to those you work with.
