Review about Swanson Road Automotive Electrical, Auckland

I took my car in when they opened at 8am to get my demister switch fixed. They said they needed the car for the whole day. I thought that wasn't ideal as it shouldn't be a big job. The demister works, it just didn't stay on the different settings especially the windscreen. They call me over 3 hours later saying it needs a new cable but couldn't get it till the following week & the price was $361. I was shocked & pissed off that they didn't look at it straight away then they would have had time to get the part couriered out. I said I will come pick up my car then & they said they had to put it all back together first. I walk up from home 15 minutes but they hadn't put it back together yet. So I'm not happy & walk across the road to the RSA to wait. Over half an hour later it is finally ready. I rebooked for 2 weeks later & took my car in at opening time again 8am. Probably an hour or 2 later they call to say they got sent the wrong part. After 2 weeks you would have thought it was all good? I am more pissed off now & they said the right part will arrive the next week. I go back to pick my car up & say I should get a discount because of the muck around. They said it's not their fault. I said I could have taken it somewhere else to fix. I wasn't keen to take it back to them & booked it in to another Auto Electrician. Then a few days later I find out that the switch is working now & stays on the windscreen demister setting. I am over the moon now that I didn't need the cable as it is working fine now. It must have come right after it was taken apart & put together twice now. The following week I return their call that it is working fine now & didn't need the cable. They couldn't understand saying the cable was bent. I say no you just tried to rip me off $361 & got hung up on by them.
