Went in to get a couple(2) of tyres changed and balanced as well as a rim checked for straightness. Told it would cost me $80 as they did not like doing tyres they had not fitted. I am a fan of BFG and Michelin tyres and having just bought the car I am presently getting it to the quality I like. Having been a Fleetie for Firestone and Advantage in other regions I know it would have taken 15min to do the job. Was this staff member worth $240 an hour, I think not. Never even bothered to ask about a wheel alignment. I will shop elsewhere from now on, so a lost income for the business. Having worked for Advantage I am well aware of how customers should be treated. Maybe this is why there was only a wheel alignment going on in the workshop. Maybe the owner should consider staff training concerning dealing with customers. After this experience I think I will remove the name Advantage from my CV. Total let down guys.
