Ye Olde Tracks Ltd. was incorporated in March 2008 to manage the expansion of an idea to manufacture railway iron and other metal rails into railway memorabilia. Initially the idea was to simply cut as best one could cut railway iron and market the 15mm cross section pieces for the Otago Central Rail tourist market. Not so. The opportunity to enlarge the number of possible ways of marketing the ‘tracking’ soon became apparent and a need to mechanize production required a rather large capital outlay.
