I visited this store about a week ago. My experience was almost identical to that of Kyle above. When I left I spoke face to face with an older woman who must surely be the owner. She denied she had been watching me too. She said she was watching somebody else. In so doing she inadvertently confessed to spying on people, as reported above! A Freudian slip which confirmed her demeanor. I told her I had read appalling online reviews about her business but she was very defensive, and dismissed my comments as if I was making them up. She did not seem to care. I got the obligatory thank you as I left but it was not genuine. She had got my money and that was all that mattered to her! She was condescending, and based on my experience, is probably a dreadful person to work for too! I doubt the Hastings business world would be overly distressed if her business closed down - but I could be wrong. The shop itself is okay but avoid her like the plague! With no ZERO STAR option I score - BELOW 1/10!

A s*** place to shop. Your not allowed to look at anything. And are told if your not going to buy then piss off

My husband and i recently had the displeasure of shopping in this store. The owner/manager watched our family the entire time while we shopped, making us feel as though we were wanted criminals. The store is a mess. The items for sale are cheap, nasty and severely overpriced. Please be sure to look hard and long for a good quality item because the majority of their stocks are being sold broken, incomplete or with tatty holes. We had the unfortunate experience of needing a return. We rang in advance with a complaint detailing the issue with said item and this dishonest business woman pretended she did not speak English well, and did everything in her power to avoid a return or a refund. We found her manner cold and hard spirited with no time for customer care or product understanding. We will never step foot back into this store again, we have warned friends, family & co-workers away. Also we really did not appreciate the way she spoke to our 7 year old daughter who was merely browsing the clothing racks!
