Beach Kids Pre School & Childcare Centre is one big happy family as it has been for the past 25 years. Eilleen, a trained Teacher and mother of 7 along with her husband Graham, who is also trained in Early Childhood, decided to start Beach Kids to service a big need in the Waihi Beach community. At first Eilleen ran the business from home, then a number of years ago purchased an existing building at 44 Dillon Street and converted it to a fantastic childcare facility including beautiful landscaped gardens and an incredible children's outdoor play area. Today there are 7 early childhood teachers working at the centre. Beach Kids is a small Centre in today's standards and therefore able to offer a family style environment where every child is valued for their individuality. Days at Beach Kids Pre School & Childcare Centre are filled with activities for the children. Special activities offered to the children at Beach Kids include, Art classes for 3year olds and over, and 'preschool water confidence' with a qualified swim teacher. Beach Kids Pre School has just had an Education Review and was thrilled with the fantastic glowing outcome they received. In summary Beach Kids offers: .
