Over the years, we have built up an extensive collection of natural abalone pearls (paua) and other pearls, which can now been seen via Ringcraft Moana’s pearl tours together with other gems. New Zealand abalone pearls are completely natural pearls sourced from the Haliotis Iris, also known as the Black Foot Abalone. The ear-shaped abalone shellfish produces a highly iridescent, baroque pearl, which is highly-prized by collectors for its rarity. Abalone pearls show an extraordinary range of colours from deep azure to peacock green, red-orange, cream and magenta.
Moreover our paua (abalone) is known for its unique taste.
