As our centre specialises in childcare and education for children aged 2-5 years, we have the opportunity to focus on the skills required for later schooling as well as the vitally important communication and social skills which are required for life. All of these skills are promoted through a primarily play based curriculum. We have a wide range of resources which support us in meeting the social, emotional and physical learning and developmental needs of all the children attending our centre. We also run an effective transition to school programme in our Kea Club for our 4 year olds. This club is to ensure that we help children achieve the skills and knowledge they need to be successful from day 1 at primary school.
