Restaurant Review – Wainuiomata McDonald's, Sunday 17 August My friend and I visited the Wainuiomata McDonald's for a dine-in experience. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the dining area left something to be desired. The rubbish bins were overflowing, and there was some litter on the floor. Several tables had food crumbs and drink spills, suggesting they hadn’t been wiped down recently. When I asked a staff member if I could have a cloth to clean our table, she responded promptly and helpfully—immediately wiping down the table and sweeping the floor around us. Her initiative and friendly attitude were much appreciated. As for the food, my burger patty didn’t look particularly fresh, and the meal wasn’t served very hot. Additionally, the ice cream machine was out of order again, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the staff were courteous, polite, and welcoming throughout our visit, which made a positive impression. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and food quality, this location could offer a much better experience.
