Earthlink runs a training course for those with Mental Health and other, similar barrier, to get into paid employment. This is a ten week course that starts with classroom training, but there's an emphasis on real world work experience. We have several divisions, mostly revolving around resource recovery, that we place our trainees in. This could be in our stripping department - Taking apart electronics and electrical items to extract recyclable metals. We have a woodworking department with a tutor for those who find this area a good work experience. Have small engines and bikes department where trainees learn to repair items in order them to be resold. We have a recycling shop, where trainees have experience dealing with the public, pricing goods and handling financial transactions. We also upcycle corporate uniforms and de-logo them for sale, or we take high quality Merino wool fabric and design and manufacture a line of Kids Clothing for sale online or at our Apparel Shop, which is adjacent to our Recycling Shop.
