RECYCLED PLASTERBOARD

Too often plasterboard waste from construction & building gets sent to landfill (via waste management companies) & it's in landfill it can decompose & release up to a quarter its weight in poisonous hydrogen sulphide. But there’s an alternative. Gypsum in plasterboard is 100% recyclable & therefore it’s one of the few construction materials for which closed loop recycling is a reality. Recycled gypsum is used as a natural soil conditioner. Green Gorilla recycles waste plasterboard at our Waste Processing Facility in Auckland & is the only gypsum recycling operation in NZ.
