Te Puna Ora o Mataatua (TPOOM) is a Whanau Ora based healthcare provider in the Mataatua region. Based on the Te Poutokomanawa o Te Puna Ora framework, TPOOM aims to provide a broader vision of Maori healthcare for local whanau, working with Maori-centred data to improve health outcomes for Maori. All Maori in the Mataatua region, including tamariki (2 - 14 year olds), rangatahi (16 - 24 year olds), and kaumatua (elders) can easily access healthcare that has been tailored to their needs. This includes counselling, home-based injury or disability support, education, and more. TPOOM is also privileged to be delivering Whanau Ora 3.0, the third incarnation of the Whanau Ora initiative.
