We Freight, Christchurch

Bizarre business practice. Gave me a quote. Sent me an invoice (which I paid promptly) then Josh Perriam (the proprietor) stopped responding to emails and texts. Then sporadically replied saying he would issue a refund which he never did. I ended up taking it to the Disputes Tribunal and he only paid the refund right before the Tribunal was about to take place. Would not recommend. Other more Reliable companies are out there. Definite case of buyer beware here. Look at the other reviews also.

Terrible. Beware of this company. I actually believe they are a scam. Josh was very quick to quote for freight Christchurch to Auckland. Thought the price was okay (turned out if was expensive compared with Owens freight who were great!) so I paid. I then messaged to show payment had been made. Got no response. Tried calling and the phone lines didn’t work. Email address on the website. “Email now” is wrong. The one if found, no response.. I asked for new contact details, no response. They contacted Paul (the guy I was getting the item picked up from in Christchurch) and told him Monday pickup. They never called and told me! I told Paul not to let them take it till I had contact. I managed to get the number that had called Paul on. A different mobile number. Called, no answer. Texted and Josh replied saying Monday pickup. I explained my concerns re contact details etc, no response. Monday, no one turned up. I said I’d cancelled and wanted a refund. Got email from Josh saying sorry and would refund. Never got a refund. Chased every method of communication numerous times, Radio silence! Absolutely do not trust this company. He also runs Discount Freight, all showing same 180 Maces Rd, but they don’t exist at this address. Complete sham
