Waikanae Country Lodge is set in the heart of the Garden Area and is bordered by established homes, beautiful gardens and the picturesque Waikanae River. It's a place where you can easily retain ties with family, friends and community groups, while enjoying all the care, comfort and support that Lodge life offers. Waikanae Country Lodge was architecturally designed in 1991 to suit the needs of older people, and a year later became a licensed Rest Home and Private Hospital. As well as a full Care Facility, you'll find tastefully designed Villas and Serviced Apartments, offering a choice of one, two or three bedroom living. By providing a range of options in our Lodge, we can cater to your current requirements and adapt to any change in your health or personal circumstances. This will give you, your family and your friends the comfort of knowing you'll always have the support and care you need. It also means that you and your spouse or partner can remain together if or when you require differing levels of care.
