Description
Established in 1991, The Simpl Group, is one of New Zealand’s most successful home-grown IT companies. We started as a systems integration business and have worked in a number of industries while always having a particular strength in healthcare, both here and overseas, including Australia and the US.
Simpl has developed the Socrates disability management system, the Before 4 School Check system for child health and the eRx Script Exchange platform, Australia’s national ePrescription system, which has operated since 2007. We have also provided solutions in areas including immunisation, contract management and payments, and primary care integration. Our Health Information Exchange platform is now used in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. We are working in partnership with the National Health IT Board and the Ministry of Health to roll-out New Zealand’s ePrescription service.
