Description
At Stained and Designer Glass we custom design, build and repair leadlights. We have a modern stained glass overlay alternative to traditional leadlights which is ideally suited for use within double glazed units. Using our stained glass overlay product we can create a beautiful, custom designed, leadlight directly onto toughened glass. We offer our services throughout the Greater Auckland region, just give us a call.
Company description
As well as building traditional leadlight windows we also repair them. Many Auckland villas and bungalows still have these wonderful windows and we can help you in maintaining their beauty. Whether your homes leadlights are broken or bowed we can help. We also mend china cabinets and other furniture.
Our stained glass overlay (SGO) system offers a fantastic alternative to traditional lead light construction. It gives our customers design freedom, the benefits of modern glazing using toughened glass or double glazing and it is generally a more cost effective method of producing decorative glass than traditional leadlight construction. Using SGO we can meet with the glazing regulations required for bathrooms, doors, entranceways etc.
We also sandblast glass with custom designs. Sandblasted glass is ideal from creating some decorative privacy or corporate identity. Again we can sandblast toughened glass, laminate glass or incorporate our pieces into double glazed units.
