Barry Kirker is a Clinical Psychologist with fifteen years experience working with a diverse range of persons in various roles in the public, community and private sectors in New Zealand and overseas. Organisations Barry has worked for include Department of Corrections, Counties Manukau District Health Board, ACC, Procare Health, National Sporting Bodies, University of Sydney, Médecins Sans Frontières, Refugees as Survivors, and PPC Worldwide. Residing in South Auckland Barry is focused on serving the local community with beneficial psychological assessments and treatments. He currently works with children and adolescents assessing developmental and educational difficulties, using psychometric testing where appropriate. This includes assessment of ADHD, ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders), Intellectual Disability and Dyslexia. Mark provides CBT to children (eg., for anxiety, OCD), and parent management training, as well as working with adults on a range of clinical issues. Munira works with mental health issues for Adults, Couples, as well as Children and their families. She is approved as a Family Court Counsellor and is trained in offering mediation services to parents regarding child care issues. A specialized area of work for Munira is the diagnosis and management of Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Munira also has particular knowledge and experience in assisting clients who are Muslim. Munira can conduct sessions in English, Hindi, Gujrati or Urdu.
