Shaun Gifford, New Plymouth

Shaun Gifford as lawyer for child is unethical, immoral, supports racism, tried to intimidate me as a vulnerable woman, totally bias towards the pākeha father because of the false statements the abusive father had made. Lawyer for child is supposedly there for the best interests of the child but allowed the father to speak racistly about my child's ethnicity. He also ignored the fact that the father was caught watching family incest videos and did not seem concerned about the safety of my child as if that is normal. During a round table meeting Shaun Gifford slammed the table with his hand in front of me, spoke down at me and told me "don't put words in his mouth" in support of the abusive father, an attempt by him to intimidate me. Shaun Gifford tried to get the social worker to convince me to not video record change-overs because the abusive father complained even though it was for my safety. Why didn't Shaun Gifford try convince the father to not be abusive at change-overs instead of trying to intimidate me? Shaun Gifford was also supportive in trying to get me locked up in the mental health ward all because the abusive father said I had a mental health issue. Another lie that he used to try hide his abuse and an attempt to alienate my child from me. How many other people have been falsely locked up in the mental health ward based on lies and the support from this lawyer for child all because someone is not putting up with these lawyers manipulation and lies. Shaun Gifford does not have the childs best interest at heart at all and will do whatever the judge tells him to do whether it is right or not. Why? Because it is the courts that allow Shaun Gifford to practice law so he does what they tell him to. If you end up with this lawyer for child do not be afraid to put him in his place either by voice or on paper... I did and I came out better off for it.

Shaun Gifford as a lawyer for child was biased against myself as a father. He has been making money from the mother maligning myself and the rest of their paternal family, and allowing complete alienation by the mother against all of us. In court, Mr Gifford tells half-truths to the judge, stating that their have been complaints to Orange Tamariki, but does not also state all of the complaints were by the mother, none of which were followed-up upon and all complaints closed well before Mr Gifford mentioned such false allegations to the judge. Mr Gifford shows no evidence of ethical behaviour and appears to only be interested in escalating litigation in order to stretch out proceedings to benefit himself. Mr Gifford lies to your face outside of the courtroom as he then states the complete opposite to the judge within the court session. So many other examples of his Disgusting behaviour.. Totally unprofessional. Shameful to the 'profession'. He has aided in the destruction of the lives of these young children.
