Royal Save Mart, Auckland

The supermarket is fantastic. There is a huge selection of Korean and Japanese food products to choose from at a reasonably affordable price. It's a one stop shop to do all your Korean/Japanese food shopping in East Auckland. Definitely worth checking out :) However, the restaurant is EXTREMELY appalling. Although the food are great but the service was just atrocious. The owner lady rudely called out from across the kitchen to say they will only serve us if we were BOTH ordering a plate. Apparently, no sharing of meals allowed. We have been there on numerous occasions and had never had any problems but this so called new 'policy' left us baffled. There's absolutely no respect for customers at all. We were humiliated and left quickly obviously with empty stomachs. It's such a pity that we have to boycott the restaurant as we did rather enjoy the food and the atmosphere in past.
