Paws & Claws Retreat is a specialist boarding cattery in South Waikato, just 2 minutes drive north of Tokoroa.  Hayden and Bridie look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies.  We are passionate about our animals and, in particular, our cats.  If you love your cat we are the retreat for your babies while you're away on holiday.

We are experienced ‘cat people’ who enjoy caring for and spoiling your feline family.  We offer a purpose built cattery designed with cats in mind.  There are individual pens for all our guests and also a semi communal area for them to enjoy with plenty of toys and areas to explore.  We also offer larger pens with outside views for guests who are happier on their own.

Hayden – I have been around cats all my life. I was born and raised in the South Waikato. I am involved in the Cat Show circuit and I am slowly working towards becoming a judge (hopefully it won't take too many years). I am already a recognised cat handler and I am planning on doing my stewarding course as soon as possible.

Bridie – I was raised in the Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa and have been around cats and dogs most of my life. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, particularly the cute fluffy ones.
