She graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Health Science, specializing in Podiatry at Auckland University of Technology. Martin has lived in the Auckland area for the past years working as a podiatry lecturer at AUT University on the Northshore campus, where he still works full time. His back ground comprises of many years in the rehabilitation field, starting off in Orthotics and Prosthetics and moving onto Podiatry. His expertise is in the area of clinical and Mechanical Podiatry, Footwear Modification, Foot Orthoses, Rheumatology and athletes with special needs and occupational podiatry. Being dedicated to ongoing professional development, Martin keeps well acquainted with the latest podiatry trends and is part of policy development in the ongoing improvement of podiatry education in New Zealand. Martin has attended many Oxfam Trail Walkers as a clinical advisor with AUT podiatry support crew. Also he has been a part of the International Special Olympics and was part of the foot screening team on multiple occasions. Martin also previously managed Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Rheumatology Orthotic Services in Rotorua. Helping people with foot problems across the age and life spectrum.
