NTech works with CAANZ (as/if required) to navigate any certification requirements or issues with your aircraft or component, for example:

Approving a repair that is outside of the OEM’s repair limits

Providing support with specific design effort, for instance if your fabricated parts require manufacturing drawings by reverse engineering

Applying for a Petition for an Exemption to CAANZ if your modification does not meet a regulation, for which we can propose an Equivalent Level of Safety (ELOS)

Flight Testing, including compiling flight test schedules (FTS) and applications for Experimental Permits

Providing the required design services and paperwork to return a grounded aircraft to airworthiness

Taking your modification to STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) Level.

All modifications and repairs processed and approved by NTech are fully backed.

If your modification or repair shows any sign of premature wear or failure, we will investigate and offer the necessary remedial action.

NTech’s services extend across a wide range of products (propellers, engines, aircraft, rotorcraft, gliders, balloons, etc), for example, we are the only organisation in New Zealand to provide approvals for The Vintage Aviator (TVA) aircraft.

We hold substantial records of all approval services provided since 1992 and can carry out an archive search if you need information on an old modification or repair.
