New Zealand Fire Service Waikanae

28th November 2022 Dear Firefighters at Waikanae Fire Station, On behalf of the Kapiti Community Foodbank, please accept our sincere and very grateful thanks to you and your Members for your generosity in assisting us with the sorting and packing transportation, of food to the Foodbank building during the Lions Food Drive collection on Saturday 26th November. Having very recently relocated to our new permanent home in Hinemoa St and still finding our feet with space, we would have struggled to accommodate the task. The Church was a wonderful venue and we were so pleased to have your assistance in making the task efficient and helping it to run smoothly. We are aware that we will have no doubt taken you away from other more important and pressing tasks in order to assist us and we do not underestimate the value of this donation. We thank you for the sacrifice your members have made of their own time and thank you sincerely for your charity as loyal supporters of the Foodbank and those in need in Kapiti.
