Monique Therese Designer Jeweller, Havelock North

We would never go there again! We’re very disappointed with the workmanship and cost of a simple size change on my wife’s wedding ring at Monique’s Boutique. We had assumed that the quality and price would be comparable to those of other local jewellers. The engraving was partially polished away, and we were charged $812 for a simple size change on a plain ring. When we compared the cost with other local and Napier jewellers, we found we had paid between 6 and 7 times more. This was the most expensive experience we have had so far, and it just demonstrates that supporting a local business in this case was an unwise decision.
