Massey Kids' Club, Palmerston North

The Club House is a purpose built, newly renovated centre, located on Orchard Road on the Turitea (Palmerston North) site, situated on campus just behind the Recreation Centre. It is an excellent location away from busy roads, nestled in between the tennis courts and the rugby fields. It is a spacious, seven room facility with a homely feel and plenty of open and sheltered outdoor areas for play. MKC is also in the process of becoming a qualified member of enviroschools; a government funded incentive that rewards primary education centres for sustainable awareness and practices.

Staff and activities

Our trained staff do their utmost to cater for the needs of your children. We offer a wide selection of activities in which they will be encouraged, but not obliged, to participate. There is a variety of activities to choose from; creative and physical play interspersed with rest periods and times of coming together as a group. We also have a homework room with computers to accommodate those children who require a quiet space to work after school.

The Kids' Club provides after school care, including escorted pick-up from school and school holiday child care services. We run interesting and vibrant after-school and holiday programmes, entailing quality activities and exciting excursions. All play within the club, whether structured or free, is offered in an atmosphere of respect for each child as an individual. Our professional staff do their utmost to cater for the individual needs of each child while simultaneously directing children toward activities that will stimulate their development and benefit their learning and future wellbeing. This combination enables parents to be confident in the knowledge that their children are in a secure and happy environment.

During both after-school and holiday sessions, we visit various places and venues geared to children's enjoyment. Ranging from library and park visits, to kayaking and the movies.
