Mana Tahuna Charitable Trust is a kaupapa Maori organisation committed to positive social, cultural and environmental development for our community.
Mana Tahuna Charitable Trust was born from a seed planted by Tahuna Maori for the past several decades.
That seed was hope, want and need for a kaupapa Maori organisation that allowed whanau the opportunity to connect, grow, be healthy and thrive as Maori in Tahuna - Queenstown.
Established in 2020, the covid-19 pandemic was the call to action that saw that seed grow into the Mana Tahuna Charitable Trust korowai of support and 28 passionate kaimahi we see and operate today. We engage with over 250 whanau per month across our services whilst also restoring over 10, 000 hectares of freshwater catchment in the Whakatipu.
