the reason i gave you 3 star was because your staff and staff management, i started working for this company Tuesday 14th 2014 and had to finish friday 17th 2014, i had never done squash in my life i was frightened to fail but gave it my 100 per cent as i do. i was hired to grade and was willing to learn alot, unfortunately the staff there had some nasty jealous intentions to degrade me and make me quit which i didn't until i was placed on the turning table for the destorkers, My first day was the worst day i ever had in my life in employment, i was picked on by one of the staff who thought she was management, she felt because i graded kiwifruit i should of known how to grade squash, so she yelled at me in front of all the grading table, the next morning i spoke to who i thought was the boss but she was the floor manager about the incident the day before which she yelled at me saying that i not listen to her she is nothing here, i felt she handle things unprofessionally, i felt that me going to her got me punished by her sticking me on the turning squash over for the destalkers 10 hours straight turning the heavy squash, the floor manager lacked confidence in me and didn't want me to grade plus she listened to other staff and allowed herself to be swaded, to be extra hard on me. because of lack of health and safety to care for newer members i injured both of my arms and had to finish because i no longer felt capable to complete my task at work. i feel let down by the staff management and feel that some of the staff at gisborne Leaderbrands were invindictive, gossipers and very threatened by newer members and i am not the only one that feels this way! i have spoken to a few workers who worked here an they to felt the same way. I believe Leaderbrands is a blessing and the owners are very generous, i have supported and still do Leaderbrands because you give to your workers and bonuses are so wonderful this i love about this place and thank you but besides this the way some of your staff treats newer members to the point where i injured myself to prove i am a hard working single mum this failed your reputation. I support locally owned companies hard. i really needed this job but now i am jobless and injured and let down and struggling again. I hope that in the future this will improve so other newer workers don't get treated like this as well or injure themselves, because of this i am now in sadness because this job was meant to help me buy my two children their uniforms and stationery and now i don't know what i'm to do. I do want to say the know the pressure the management have on themselves to pump out good quality produce to reach their target and to receive their bonuses, but there must be a better way to deal with newer staff. thank you for understanding.
