Hinton S Restaurant, Cafe & Tasting Room, Christchurch

Hinton's is a family owned and operated restaurant and function venue in Christchurch. The Hinton family are originally from Alexandra where they have grown stone fruit for over 100 years. In 1997 the first vines, of what is now a 10 hectare, predominantly pinot noir vineyard, were planted. Dina Hinton opened the venue in February 2006 and is still a very hands on manager. The venue consists of an 80 seat restaurant located in the property's original homestead, and a function venue with a Central Otago tasting room feel.
