Based at The Concourse in Henderson, Auckland, Henderson Timbers is a 100 percent New Zealand company, owned by Eric Martin and Blair Dunn. Founded in 1974 as a supplier of timber, building materials, and wall frames to local customers, the company later began manufacturing roof trusses in association with Pryda NZ, an autonomous division of Fortune 500 company Illinois Tool Works Inc. Pryda provides Henderson Timbers with fully integrated software and production systems, access to leading-edge manufacturing equipment, and sophisticated technical support for timber truss and frame prefabrication. As well as our membership of the New Zealand Frame and Truss Manufacturers' Association, Henderson Timbers belongs to two other industry groupings, the Certified Builders Association of NZ and BCITO, the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation.
