Mark Jones Dental Surgery is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and Dental Protection Ltd. We have passed the N. Dental Council Audit on practice management, sterilisation and cross infection control; and all staff hold current certificates in Resuscitation and Emergency care. Mark graduated from Otago University in 1979. Having worked as a Dental House Surgeon at Dunedin Hospital, then in private practice in England and Auckland, Mark and his family moved to Kerikeri to take over the dental practice formerly owned by Gordon Bell. Originally from Canada, Cheryl trained in British Columbia and qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1998. Her career has allowed Cheryl to work in many different countries. Cherly and her family came to New Zealand in 2001 and have been happily settled here ever since. Cherly has been practicing in the North Island for over 10 years and has a strong background in Periodontal Treatment and care of individuals. Raewyn, Marks wife, works as practice manager and administrator and occasionally covers the receptionist when required. For the last 30 years, Linda has worked in several Dental Surgeries in various parts of Northland. Her role in our surgery is as receptionist and surgery chairside assistant. Trish has worked in several dental practices in Northland over the past 30 years. Sue joined us in July 2013, from a background of customer service locally. Her friendly helpful nature will be a greal assett to our team.
