En Beauty is a premium Japanese lash, brow, and wellness studio tucked into Northcote on Auckland's North Shore — the kind of place that rewards you once you find it.
The studio is owned and operated by Izumi Sugihara, an internationally award-winning lash artist who trained in Japan. Izumi opened En Beauty to do things properly: every new client receives a complimentary consultation before their first appointment, and every treatment is individually designed using her signature Niawase styling method — working with each client's unique facial features rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
The studio itself was built by Tsuguya, a Japanese carpenter whose work appears in some of New Zealand's finest Japanese restaurants. He used traditional Japanese timber throughout, creating a space that is warm, considered, and genuinely calm.
The treatment menu runs from lash extensions (including LED lash extensions), lash lift, brow lamination, brow shaping and tinting, through to Japanese Meridian Face Lift, a non-invasive treatment rooted in Japanese meridian therapy that lifts and sculpts naturally without needles or filler. The menu also includes Green Peel, Reiki, facials, Japanese Meridian Scalp Lift, and dermaplaning, a breadth of Japanese wellness treatments rarely found together in a single Auckland studio.
