Whether you are new to tennis, or new to Christchurch, Elmwood Tennis welcomes you; Check out our advert in the Star, Tennis Club provides top tennis facilities, coaching and development in Christchurch's northwest suburbs The courts are on Heaton Street, between Strowan and Papanui Roads; The club looks out over Elmwood Park a classic Oak lined English Village Green, used for club cricket in the summer months and soccer in the winter To the north east, the club car park borders with Heaton Intermediate and neighbouring St Andrews private school; Elmwood tennis club has nine courts available six to the north of the clubhouse and three tucked away behind it The front 6 were all re surfaced in October 2006, with the back three finished in July 2008
