Dubois Antiques and French Vintage is based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Dubois Antiques is owned and operated by Chris and Marja Wood. We share a love of quality French antiques and a synergy with French culture. Marja has a background in the arts and interior design and I (Chris) am an experienced negotiator and salesperson who enjoys the simple art of interacting with others.
Together, we have a deep connection with France and a passion for it’s culture as well as with family who live in the Loire Valley region of France. This makes communication and travel much simpler and has allowed for this passion to evolve into a business.

Marja and I realize that many others in New Zealand are equally keen on the Art Deco, Art Nouveau and selected 16th-21st Century French pieces, so we have decided to bring an initial selection of hand picked pieces back home.
We spent many hours talking to the locals and negotiating for the finest original french pieces. Apart from some items bought privately, all of our selection comes from professional and reputable antique merchants.
The selection includes: Louis 16th chairs, art deco clocks, french garden furniture, marble tables, french buffets (cherry and oak), vintage and antique mirrors, art deco ornaments, china and glassware.
