Open 7 days from 8am for breakfast, brunch and lunch, and open for dinner in peak summer season (Nov -Mar). Bookings are welcome and essential for large groups and tours. Lake Matheson, just 5 minutes drive from Fox Glacier, is famous for its picture perfect reflections of Mount Cook & superb views of Fox Glacier.

From November to the end of March, Matheson Café changes its persona in the evening from fresh café food to a table service restaurant with an incredible new menu and extensive wine list on offer. Providing the perfect place to enjoy award winning cuisine, sample some of New Zealand’s finest beers and wines.
