Michelle and Paul Stevenson combined their talents, determination and passion for food and horticulture to create a delicious line of high-quality, specialty food products. Starting at local farmers’ markets, they have expanded to include kasundi and pickles in their sauce range. Eat their kasundi sauce with barbecued meats, piled on poached eggs with yogurt, dukkah and coriander, slathered on crackers with cheese, spooned over rice with a dollop of yoghurt and fresh herbs, mixed with coconut cream as a marinade for fish or chicken, stirred into soups, plastered on lamb as a marinade, dunked as a dipping sauce, drizzled over sautéed greens, poured over fish and chips, or spread on pizza bases. Our core ingredients are grown in Omaha’s fertile black peat soil, enriched by ancient kauri logs that have been buried in New Zealand’s peat swamps for more than 45, 000 years. You can taste it.
