Our water taxi service is on request only – we have no scheduled departures. We can comfortably take up to 8 passengers (plus the skipper). We have seating for 5 in the cabin and 3 with the skipper, however the journey is most comfortable for those who wish to enjoy the open air. Prices shown below are per boat, for up to 8 passengers. If you do not have a group of your own, let us know and we can try to join you with another group. We are happy to combine sightseeing with your transfers, just let us know what you would like to do. Pricing is dependent on departure and destination. Our most popular trips are listed below and for others, please contact us for a quote. Mangawhai to Great Barrier Island (all ports) $650 one way. Mangawhai to Sandspit/Leigh $400 one way. Return journey costings are dependent on timeframes involved. Please contact us for more information.

Sightseeing excursions are tailor-made for the individuals and may depend on time and weather restrictions. Whether your preference is clear blue seas, stunning rock formations, pristine white beaches or pods of dolphins, this beautiful part of Northland has it all. We can also combine sightseeing trips with our water taxi service. Are you heading to Great Barrier, Ruakaka or Kawau and would like to see some sights along the way? Whether you're an experienced fisho or a fishing novice, our fishing charters are a fantastic way to spend time on the water. Fishmeister's purpose built boat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people actively fishing at any time and is well equipped to find where the fish are. We can provide whatever equipment you need, or you can bring your own - it's up to you. We fish for a variety of species including Snapper, Kahawhai, Gurnard, John Dory and Tarakihi through to larger species such as Kingfish and we have some outstanding fishing spots on our doorstep.
