The Cliffside Totara Tree Tent is nestled amongst mature native bush on a working farm in rural Waiuku, just 50 minutes from Auckland CBD and 15 minutes inland from Karioitahi Beach. Please note: this tent is not located on the coast. Suspended between two mighty totara trees, the Tree Tent offers a unique elevated glamping experience surrounded by native bush, birdsong and the peaceful sounds of rural New Zealand. It’s a completely different experience to our coastal tents, with a focus on privacy, tranquillity and disconnecting from the everyday. Although completely off-grid, the tent has everything you need, including solar-powered lighting, heating, a stereo, espresso machine and refrigerator. Add our gourmet self-cook dinner and breakfast package, and you can simply arrive, settle in and let the rest be taken care of.

Cliffside’s three coastal tents sit on the secluded cliffs above Karioitahi Beach, just a 50-minute drive from Auckland CBD. Surrounded by native landscape, ocean breezes and uninterrupted sunset views, they offer a luxurious off-grid escape for couples. Located 10 minutes by golf cart from the main car park, each tent is thoughtfully designed with a private bathroom, outdoor bath, super king bed, heating, solar-powered lighting, an espresso machine and refrigerator. Add our gourmet self-cook dinner and breakfast package, and everything is taken care of from arrival to departure.
