Our driving school offers young drivers the chance to develop skills to drive defensively and progress towards their restricted driving test. These lessons can literally start from the very first lesson including pre-drive checks, explanation of engine components & controls, and all driving techniques including steering, cornering, speed control and observation. Safe driving will be a cornerstone of the training and the hazard action plan which has been shown to reduce the risk of accidents for new drivers by 25% in their first two years. A range of additional lessons are offered including emergency braking, engine braking, hill starts, town driving, fitting & use of snow chains and many other techniques to reduce the risk of accidents. Students can be picked up from school or home by arrangement.
