Our tours are guided and hosted and can include short guided walks to truly experience the varied landscapes and the many scenic and historic places. Tour guests can explore the nature and scenery and then retire to their superb accommodations at the end of the day. Guests are guided and accompanied by a driver/guide and a host/guide on their private tour. Many of our tour guests have said that they found their experience with us was more like travelling with friends than being on a tour. So, because of this and the style of tours that we offer, we describe our tours as Luxpeditions. Our Luxpeditions are for couples, groups of friends travelling together, families, individuals travelling alone and special interest groups. Emphasis is always on quality for our tour guests wanting that ‘extra something’ and a memorable and wonderful experience. Tours are totally tailor-made, designed to suit the guests’ time frame and wishes, and tours can start and finish anywhere in South Island. We can also include iconic day destinations within a multi-day itinerary. Also available are tours for those who do not desire guided walks. The service, inclusions, the ‘safari’ style and the ‘wow’ factor of their tours (for example, stopping at a beautiful remote spot and serving a chilled NZ Sauvignon Blanc with cheese and crackers) make them very different from other operators.
