Matador is an educational toy. It is a construction set with wooden blocks that get connected through wooden pins. It is a fantastic tool to develop mental and motor skills in children. Matador is produced in Austria from untreated beech wood. There are two product lines: the Ki series for the 3-5 year olds (using larger 4x4 cm blocks), ideal for the pre-school environment and the Classic series (2x2 cm blocks) for older children. Children build their own models, either from suggested illustrations, or they use their imagination. The Classic series allows for the construction of some very complex models and can be used as teaching aid in schools.
